By accessing or using The Scrap Bridge platform at thescrapbridge.in ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use this Platform. These Terms apply to all users, Brands, Recyclers, Refurbishers, and Individuals.
The Scrap Bridge is a marketplace platform that connects waste generators ("Sellers") with certified recyclers and refurbishers ("Buyers"). We facilitate the transaction but are not a party to the actual sale, purchase, or transfer of waste materials. We do not take physical possession of any waste or goods at any time.
You must register with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to register. Recyclers and Refurbishers must hold valid business registrations and applicable licenses (including CPCB authorization where required). Brands must hold valid GST registrations. We may verify these documents at any time and suspend accounts that cannot provide valid credentials.
Sellers may post waste listings with accurate descriptions, photographs, and quantities. Buyers may submit quotes in good faith. All listed information must be truthful. Misrepresentation of waste type, quantity, or condition is grounds for immediate account suspension and may result in legal liability. Submitted bids are binding commitments to transact at the quoted price if selected.
ALL TRANSACTIONS ON THE SCRAP BRIDGE ARE FINAL. Once a deal is confirmed and the seller has submitted pickup details (invoice number, date, and amount), no cancellation, refund, or reversal of the transaction is permitted. Once material has been picked up and the buyer has confirmed receipt, the transaction is irrevocably closed. Neither the platform nor either party may reverse a completed transaction. Disputes regarding quantity or quality must be raised during the physical inspection phase, before deal closure.
The Scrap Bridge charges a platform fee of 2% of the final invoice amount from the Seller and 2% from the Buyer. This fee is calculated and disclosed at the time of deal closure. By completing a deal, both parties agree to pay the applicable platform fee. The platform fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Buyers are responsible for issuing valid recycling or processing certificates for all completed transactions. Certificates must be issued within the time specified in the deal flow. Failure to issue a certificate within 20 days of the pickup date will result in account restrictions. Falsification of recycling certificates is a violation of these Terms and may be reported to relevant authorities.
Users may not: post fraudulent or misleading listings; attempt to transact off-platform to avoid fees; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; upload malicious content; create multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose. Violation of any of these prohibitions will result in permanent account termination.
The Scrap Bridge is not liable for: the quality, safety, or legality of waste materials listed; the accuracy of user-provided information; losses arising from transactions between users; or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability in any matter is limited to the platform fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

All transactions are final and non-refundable. Once a deal is confirmed, material is picked up, and receipt is confirmed, no cancellations, refunds, or reversals are permitted for any reason. Platform fees are non-refundable. Raise all disputes before deal closure during the inspection phase.
